Gaining followers on Facebook and Instagram seems like it should be the goal for every business, right? But really, you want to convert those followers to customers, especially if you have an online store. 1) Make content king.
You must post unique, engaging content, Williams says, not just ads. “There is so much noise in the digital universe,” he says, “posts that stand out and are unique to your brand/product are essential.” Provide entertaining or informative content to catch the reader’s eye and entice her to click through to see more.
2) Keep it simple.
Avoid too many calls to action with multiple tags and links, Williams says. Your efforts can end up confusing your customer. “Have a plan for what you want your fans to do, and make it simple and clear. Use customized links that your customers learn to trust,” he adds.
